Lila doesn’t have anything exciting going on over summer break like her other classmates. So, she lies! At first, it felt like playing pretend. But as the lie spreads, it becomes a big deal in her small world. Now she doesn’t know how to take it back and the lie keeps getting bigger and eventually Lila gets left out. This story teaches young kids how a small fib can spiral out of control. Lila shows them that it might not seem easy to fess-up, but it feels much better when you do.
